LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (July 25, 2022) – Madeline Roberts has joined Pulaski County Government as its new director of communications.
Roberts, who started earlier this month, will serve as the County’s principal spokesperson and oversee strategic communications, including preparing and disseminating information about County services and programs to constituents and stakeholders.
“This is an exciting time for Pulaski County,” said County Judge Barry Hyde. “We are thankful to have Madeline here to inform citizens of the important County initiatives impacting our constituents.”
Prior to joining Pulaski County Government, Roberts was the marketing and communications director for Lyon College in Batesville, Ark., where she led the strategic marketing and communications team and advised senior leadership on the College’s public relations strategy.
“As a Little Rock native, I am thrilled to be back in my hometown with the privilege to serve my county,” she said. “I’m looking forward to working with familiar faces as well as meeting new ones.”
Roberts has a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in journalism from Lyon College and a master’s in applied communication from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In addition, she received her accreditation in public relations (APR) in 2021 and is a member of the Arkansas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
