Judy Green represents the 9th District on the Pulaski County Quorum Court. Ms. Green was first elected to the Pulaski County Quorum Court in 2010 and is serving her 3rd term as Justice of the Peace.
Baptized at St. Andrew A.M.E. Church in 1946, Ms. Green has remained a lifelong resident of Little Rock. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Business Education from Philander Smith College. Additionally, she holds several professional credentials and post graduate certificates.
Ms. Green has lived through many changes in our county. During the 1957-1959 Central High School Desegregation Crisis, after Governor Orval Faubus closed the school district, she found herself a high school senior without a school to attend. Undeterred, she attended Philander Smith College in the winter of 1959 to complete her high school credits for graduation.
Ms. Green worked for the State Department of Education from 1963-1968. She would go on to serve as a business instructor for Southern Technical College, Delta Career College, Arkansas Baptist College, Draughn’s School of Business, & Capital City Jr. College for 12 years. Currently Ms. Green is the CEO-President of PON’D Enterprises, an income tax & notary public services firm in Little Rock.
Ms. Green is a former member of the Arkansas National Guard and lives in Little Rock. She has three children and two wonderful grandchildren.
