Pulaski County Community Services is a department within Pulaski County Government aimed at providing economic development assistance, safe and affordable housing, quality of life essentials, and grants assistance to all residents and businesses within Pulaski County. Community Services views itself as a tool to improve the quality of life for each individual in the county. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of service and public value to the citizens and businesses of Pulaski County.
Community Services helps to strengthen the community by providing assistance through the following programs and services:
Pulaski County Brownfields program assists communities by facilitating the reclaiming of properties affected by hazardous materials and making the properties viable.
Pulaski County Veteran Services Officer provides assistance to the veterans of Pulaski County and their families.
Pulaski County HOME program offers the Rehabilitation/Reconstruction program which assists low income homeowners with rehabilitating their homes. It also offers the Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) program which helps families by providing temporary housing assistance.
Pulaski County Housing Agency offers the Housing Choice Voucher program. It also helps families attain financial independence through its Family Self-Sufficiency program.
Recreational Community & Economic Development Initiatives assist in providing safe and healthy environments for citizens by facilitating construction and funding of wastewater systems and recreational sites, such as parks, community centers and nature trails.
Community Services also partners with Arkansas Department of Health and the Pulaski County Cooperative Extension to offer a number of additional services to the citizens of Pulaski County.
