With its picturesque location, eclectic list of activities, this hidden gem of Central Arkansas festival scene is back in a big way for 2017. Festivities begin at noon and last until 7 p.m.
Festival in the Park at Two Rivers offers entertainment and activities for all ages. Two Rivers Park, with over 1000 acres of land encompassed by both the Arkansas and Little Maumelle Rivers, makes for a unique festival experience.
The festival will feature a Kids Zone, Construction Zone, Hero Zone, hay and train rides, pumpkin patch and a hill slide area. For the older crowd, a beer garden sponsored by Lost Forty Brewing, local live music, tournaments and contests, a photo boot, and a wide array of vendor booths and food trucks.
The bands include longtime local favorite and headliner Taylor Made, playing covers of your favorite songs. Opening for the festival is Gloryland Pastor’s Choir, who has been featured on America’s Got Talent and BET’s Bobby Jones Gospel. Band 12, newcomers to the Little Rock scene, are sure to bring the heat as they vie to make a name for themselves. Bastardized Version will be rocking the stage with their southern rock. The main stage will also host the Ted Ludwig Trio. Over at the Kids Zone Stage, DJ RAW will spin children friendly tunes.
