The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office took a report yesterday from an individual that was scammed out of $2000. Potential victims are told they have an outstanding warrant/fine that needs to be paid due to missing court or jury duty. The scammer then gives directions on how to pay the fine. THIS IS A SCAM. PCSO does NOT have an employee with the name mentioned in the report and do not operate in the manner used to deceive. PCSO does not collect fines (the court does). PCSO does not take credit or debit cards for any services offered.
